And said those who (do) not expect (the) meeting with Us, "Why not are sent down to us the Angels or we see our Lord?" Indeed, they have become arrogant within themselves and (become) insolent (with) insolence great.
But those who do not believe that they are destined to meet Us are wont to say, “Why have no angels been sent down to us?” – or, “Why do we not see our Sustainer?” Indeed, they are far too proud of themselves, having rebelled [against God’s truth] with utter disdain
And those who look not for a meeting with Us say: Why are angels not sent down unto us and (Why) do we not see our Lord! Assuredly they think too highly of themselves and are scornful with great pride
Such as fear not the meeting with Us (for Judgment) say: "Why are not the angels sent down to us, or (why) do we not see our Lord?" Indeed they have an arrogant conceit of themselves, and mighty is the insolence of their impiety
Those who do not expect to meet Us say, “If only the angels were sent down to us, or we could see our Lord!” They have certainly been carried away by their arrogance and have entirely exceeded all limits.

Those who hope not for a meeting with Us said: Why were angels not caused to descend to us and why see we not our Lord? Surely, they grew arrogant among themselves, defiant, turning in great disdain.
Those who do not expect to meet Us say: "Why aren´t angels sent down to us, or we are allowed to see our Lord?" They act too proud of themselves, and strut around quite insolently!
And those who don’t expect a meeting with Us (who deny the Day of Resurrection), say: “Why are not the angels sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord?” Indeed they think arrogantly of themselves and are scornful with great pride.
And those who hope not to meet Us say, “Why have not the angels been sent down unto us, or why have we not seen our Lord?” Indeed, they have waxed arrogant in their souls and were greatly insolent
And said those who expect not for a meeting with Us: “Why not have been sent down unto us the angels or (that) we may see our Nourisher-Sustainer?" Surely, indeed they thought too highly of themselves and exceeded the limits to a transgression, monstrous
Those who do not expect to meet Us on the Day of Judgement say: "Why are not the angels sent down to us or why do we not see our Lord?" Certainly they are too proud of themselves, and have revolted in a great revolt
Those who do not expect to meet Us say, 'If only the angels were sent down to us, or we could see our Lord.' They have grown arrogant within themselves, and have become excessively defiant
And the ones who do not hope for a meeting with Us have said, "Had there been (the) Angels sent down upon us, or (had it been for us to) see our Lord!" Indeed they have already waxed proud within themselves and have rebelled a great rebellion
Those who have no desire to meet Us have said, "Would that the angels had been sent to us or that we could see our Lord." They are really filled with pride and have committed the greatest and worst kind of rebellion and hostility
Said those who do not even expect to meet Us, .Why the angels are not sent down to us or why do we not see our Lord?. Indeed they think too highly of themselves, and have gone too far in rebellion
Those who do not believe that they are destined to meet Us, say, "Why do not angels come down to us, or why do we not see our Lord?" Assuredly, they think too highly of themselves and they are uttering a gross insult
Those not anticipating a meeting with Us said, "Why were angels not sent down for us? And why do we not see our God?" They deem themselves too important, and have been arrogant a great deal
And those who do not expect (their) meeting Us said: "Why are the angels not sent down to us, or (why) do we not see our Lord?” Truly, they have a false opinion of themselves with rudeness in their great arrogance
And those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Why were not angels sent down to us, or [why] do we [not] see our Lord?" They have certainly become arrogant within themselves and [become] insolent with great insolence
And those who do not expect to meet Us said: "If only the Angels were sent down upon him, or that we see our Lord." They have become arrogant in their souls, and they have produced a great blasphemy
Those who do not fear to meet Us say, ‘Why are the angels not sent down to us?’ or ‘Why can we not see our Lord?’ They are too proud of themselves and too insolent
And those who fear not the meeting with Usl say: wherefore are not angels sent down unto us or wherefore we see not our Lord! Assuredly they have proven stiff-necked in their souls and have exceeded the bounds with excess great
Those who do not hope to meet Us say: "Why are no angels sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord?" They are full of self-conceit and behave with intense arrogance
Those who do not expect to meet Us say, ´Why have angels not been sent down to us? Why do we not see our Lord?´ They have become arrogant about themselves and are excessively insolent.
Those who (being unbelievers) do not expect to meet Us (in the Hereafter) say: "Why are no angels sent down on us or (why) do we not see our Lord?" Assuredly they are far too arrogant of themselves (demanding what is impossible for them), and exceed all bounds (in their presumption)
Those who do not expect to encounter Us say, ‘Why have angels not been sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord?’ Certainly they are full of arrogance within their souls and have become terribly defiant
And those who look not for a meeting with Us say, "Why are angels not sent down to us, or we do not see our Lord?" Assuredly they have an arrogant conceit of themselves and excessive is their insolence
And those who do not expect to meet Us said: why was not the angels sent down to us, or why do we not see our Master? They have certainly been arrogant about themselves, and they rebelled, a great rebellion
Those who do not expect the meeting for judgment with Us say, “Why are the angels not sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord?” Indeed they have an arrogant conceit of themselves, and terrible is the insolence of their impiety
Those who don’t like to meet Us say: “If angels were sent down, or we could see our Lord we would have believed.” They are proud of themselves and rude.
Those people, who have no fear of coming before Us, say,"Why should not the angels be sent down to us? Or else we should see our Lord. " Great arrogance have they assumed in regard to themselves, and have transgressed all limits in their rebellion
Andthose who do not expect to meet Us said: "If only the angels were sent down upon us, or that we see our Lord." They have become arrogant in their souls, and they have produced a great blasphemy
And those who do not expect a meeting with Us say, "Why are angels not sent down to us or why do we not see our Lord?" They are certainly too proud of themselves and have greatly exceeded all bounds
And said those who do not expect meeting Us, "Why not angels are sent, to us, or we see our Lord" Undoubtedly they have become proud of themselves and they have become greatly contumacious.
Those who do not expect to meet us said, "If only the angels could come down to us, or we could see our Lord (we would then believe)!" Indeed, they have committed a gross arrogance, and have produced a gross blasphemy.
Those who do not hope to meet Us ask: 'Why have no angels been sent to us? Why can we not see our Lord? ' How proud they are within themselves, and have become greatly disdainful
And those who look not for meeting with Us, say: Why have not angels been sent down to us, or (why) do we not see our Lord? Indeed they are too proud of themselves and revolt in great revolt
And those who do not hope/expect meeting Us said: "If only angels were descended on (to) us, or we see our Lord." They had become arrogant in themselves, and they became arrogant/disobedient, great arrogance/disobedience
Those who mind the least their meeting with Me on the Day of Resurrection say: “We will believe only if God send us some angels or meet us in person.” What an arrogance, what a rebellion
And those who do not expect to meet Us said, “Why were the angels not sent down to us or we been able to see our Lord?” Indeed they thought too highly of themselves and they turned extremely rebellious
And those, who do not expect a meeting with US, say, `Why are not angels sent down to us? Or, why do we not see our Lord?' Surely, they are too proud of themselves and have gone far in rebellion
And those who do not hope for meeting with Us say: ‘Why were angels not sent down to us? Or if we could see our Lord (with our own eyes, we would certainly believe).’ In fact, they esteem (themselves) very highly in their hearts and are rebelling beyond bounds
Those who entertain no fear about being present before Us, nor do they expect it, say, `Why should not the angels be sent down to us? Or we see our Lord?' They have indeed thought very highly of themselves and have exceeded all limits of transgression
And those who expect not for a Meeting with Us (i.e. those who deny the Day of Resurrection and the life of the Hereafter), say: "Why are not the angels sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord?" Indeed they think too highly of themselves, and are scornful with great pride
Say those who look not to encounter Us, 'Why have the angels not been sent down on us, or why see we not our Lord?' Waxed proud they have within them, and become greatly disdainful
They who hope not to meet Us at the resurrection say, unless the angels be sent down unto us, or we see our Lord Himself, we will not believe. Verily they behave themselves arrogantly; and have transgressed with an enormous transgression
And those who do not hope to meet us say, 'Unless the angels be sent down to us, or we see our Lord....!' They are too big with pride in their souls and they have exceeded with a great excess
They who look not forward to meet Us say, "If the angels be not sent down to us, or unless we behold our Lord. . . ." Ah! they are proud of heart, and exceed with great excess
Those who entertain no hope of meeting Us ask: ‘Why have not the angels been sent down upon us? Why can we not see our Lord?‘ Arrogant they are; and mightily iniquitous
Those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, “Why do angels not descend to us?” or, “Why can’t we see our Lord?” They certainly are obnoxious! What audacity!
Those who do not fear to meet Us say: "Why aren’t angels sent down to us, or we are allowed to see our Lord?" They act too proud of themselves, and strut around quite insolently!
Those who entertain no hope of meeting Us say: 'Why have no angels been sent down to us?' or, 'Why do we not see our Lord?' Indeed, they are far too proud of themselves and they have been insolently overbearing.
Those who did not expect to meet Us (to experience the manifestation of Our Names in their essence) said, “Should not an angel been sent down to us or should we not be able to see our Rabb (with our eyes)?” (Unable to comprehend the intrinsic reality within their essence and incessantly seeking an external god!) Indeed, they were full of arrogance and self-importance, and they transgressed and disobeyed.
And those who do not hope to meet Us (for Judgment) say: �Why are not the angels sent down to us, or (why) do we not see our Lord?� Certainly they are too proud of themselves and have revolted in great revolt
And those who do not entertain the thought and belief of meeting with Us in Day of Judgement insolently and defiantly say: "If only the angels would be sent down to us or we could distinctly perceive Allah, our Creator, by sight!" They are extravagant in their accounts of themselves. They display inordinate self- esteem and insolently persist in disobedience and in false pride and bury exhortation in oblivion
And We had not sent any messengers before you, but they ate food and walked in the markets. And We have made some of you a trial for others. Will you (bear with) patience? And your Fosterer is Seeing. (R 2, P 18)
